Something cool: Junior 2010 with toys

05 June 2012 at 14:28 CEST

Meet Alexandro Kröger Degerfeldt. He's the guy behind an incredible project called Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 With Toys

The work on the project really began in the summer of 2010 when the idea came to him. He wanted to construct a miniature stage of the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

"But I also wanted to make a real film production after the stage was finished. A film where I used the sound from the real show and I staged and filmed the acts." he says.

He didn't want it to be a copy of the actual contest, though. "My idea also was to create unique graphics and a unique theme for the film." he adds. "So it was not only going to be the contest with toy figures but the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 my own way."

That summer and fall he got in touch with the organisers from the EBU and BTRC and we helped him to get images and plans of the stage. He then started working on the stage...

This gives us a great opportunity to now present the first part of this incredible project in the video below!

This year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on the 1st of December.
