Poland's Laura reaches for the skies in Yerevan07 December 2022 at 12:00 CET
Her song, To the Moon, is all about aiming high and reaching for the stars. It’s something that Laura understands well, from her experience on The Voice Kids in her home country to the hard work she’s putting in for Junior Eurovision. The singer year old from Konin has been performing in local competitions and festivals since the age of six, but her trip to Yerevan is her biggest adventure yet.
‘I’d say that The Voice Kids is a little different, but I think it was a great start to my Junior Eurovision experience!’
Not only is Laura a talented singer, but she’s also been doing voice-over and dubbing work for the past three years! If you’re watching films and television in Poland, you might have heard Laura’s voice in shows like Vampirina and Clifford the Big Red Dog, or films like The War with Grandpa. As her star continues to rise, she’s hoping to maybe step in front of the camera some day and do some acting as well.
‘I think I’m ready for it!’
For now, she’s keeping an open mind on her future, but she’d love to balance her lofty goals in show business with a down-to-earth dream: to have a cozy home in the countryside! For now, she’s got a busy animal-filled home, with two dogs, two cats, and a rabbit, but she’d love to add a horse to her menagerie some day.
If To the Moon lifts you up, be sure to vote for Poland this year!
