Italy will fly Melissa & Marco to Belarus to represent their country

Melissa is 10 years old and lives in Alassio with her parents and younger brother. She is in her final year of primary school and is also part of a musical company called 'Riviera Musical'. 

Marco was born in Avezzano in 2004 and is currently attending the first scientific high school. He started dancing at the age of 4, but discovered a love for singing at the age of 8.

Italy debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 in Malta; a successful start, as the country won the contest that year. Italy has participated every year since its debut. 

Melissa & Marco will be the first Italian boy-girl duo at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
