Radio Television Serbia has revealed that Irina Brodic and Jana Paunovic will represent the country at Junior Eurovision 2017. Their song, Ceo svet je nas, will be revealed during a television show this coming weekend.
Serbia made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and their entry in 2017 will be the ninth appearance of the Balkan state. Serbia's best placing was in 2007 and 2010 when the country finished third. Whilst Serbia has won the Eurovision Song Contest, a Junior Eurovision victory is yet to be achieved.
Irina Brodic and Jana Paunovic beat two other acts that competed in the national selection with their song Ceo svet je nas winning the ticket to Tbilisi. The song translates as The World is Ours.
