Countdown to Tbilisi: Serbia's songs

Serbia
The first time Serbia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was in 2006. They were part of Serbia and Montenegro the year before though, when the contest was held in Belgium. Let’s look back on Serbia’s entries from the past years.

Serbia's best placing at Junior Eurovision is third, which the country achieved twice in both in 2007 and in 2010. In 2007, the country was represented by Nevena Božović, who also represented her country in 2013 during the Eurovision Song Contest as part of her band Moje 3. Unfortunately, Moje 3 didn’t make it to the final: they ended up in 11th place.

When Serbia made its solo debut at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, it was the first of the two nations to compete in this contest, with Montenegro taking part for the first time in 2014. This was also the year in which the Serbian broadcaster Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) returned to the contest after three absences in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

We will introduce the Serbian representative for the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest soon. In the meantime, check out the previous entries in the video below!
