Switzerland hosted and won the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Lugano back in 1956, but their history in Junior Eurovision is a little shorter.

They debuted at the Contest in Lillehammer in 2004. 

Demis Mirarchi took to the stage with the Italian-language entry Birichino (‘Naughty’), which finished 16th in a field of 18.

This is (so far) the only Swiss participation at Junior Eurovision.
