Yerevan: Gohar and Avet to host

Avet Barseghyan is a TV/radio personality, lyricist and a... historian. He is one of the most popular TV personalities and lyricist of Armenia.

During his 10 year career he has hosted many beloved TV projects such as the Armenian national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest, Armenian Idol, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire and others. He's also written lyrics of more than 200 songs in Armenian and Russian.

Gohar Gasparyan is a TV personality, Head of Delegation for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and also, a journalist.

Gohar is one of the most remarkable TV personalities in Armenia started her career as a presenter in public TV since she was 11 years old. Specialised mostly in entertainment TV projects she has hosted many TV shows.

Starting as a first spokesperson and commentator for Armenia at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, she has also hosted their national selections.

They will now host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, on the 3rd of December.
