Ukraine launches national selection for Junior Eurovision 2021 🇺🇦

Who will become the 16th Junior Eurovision act for Ukraine? Broadcaster UA:PBC has released more information about their national selection which will be broadcast live on tv.

To participate, acts can submit a performance of either their own original song or one of the songs provided by UA:PBC. Applications can be submitted until 19 September.

Ukrainian children aged 9 to 14 can submit their application on the official website of the Ukrainian selection.

12 to 16 participants will be selected to take part in the final which will be broadcast live on UA:KULTURA. If selected, participants that didn’t provide an original song will receive a new song from UA:PBC. The winner will be decided by a combined result from a professional jury and online voting.

Ukraine has taken part every year since their debut in 2006. They have hosted the Contest twice and won the trophy in 2012 with Anastasiya Petryk and her song Nebo.
