After 14 performances on the stage at the “Olmeca Plage” beach complex, it was up to the combined votes of the Ukrainian public and a professional jury to decide the winner. They jointly chose Anna Trincher to represent Ukraine in Sofia with the song "Pochny z sebe (Start with yourself)". Anna Trincher is from the capital city, Kyiv, in Ukraine.
The live show was co-hosted by Sofia Tarasova, who took second place when the contest was held in Kyiv in 2013. The show also saw guest performances from Zlata Ognevich and Oleksandr Ponomariov, as well as Sofiia Kutsenko and Marta Rak who was part of Trio Sympho-Nick last year.
