Georgia made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. Since then the country has gone on to have the most successful record of all participating countries with three wins and nine out of ten placings inside the top ten!

Mariam Romelashvili represented Georgia in the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, finishing in fourth place. The following year Georgia won Junior Eurovision for the first time with the song Bzz.. performed by Bzikebi. A series of top ten placings followed before the country won again in 2011 with Candy Music performed by the group Candy.

Last month Mariam Mamadashvili won the 2016 edition of the competition with Mzeo putting Georgia in the record books for winning Junior Eurovision more times than any other country. In ten appearances in Junior Eurovision, Georgia has placed in the top five a record seven times.
