Tonight: Shows in Italy and The Netherlands

Junior Songfestival kicks off this weekend with the first semifinal, and in Italy the re-run of the final phase of 'Ti lascio una canzone' will see the country select its entrant for Sofia.

The Netherlands

Four acts take to the stage tonight as AVROTROS begins its search for a Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry. Two acts will qualify directly to the final tonight, with the non-qualifiers entering the draw to receive a wildcard for the final show. Competing tonight are:

Daniƫl - "Special"
Shalisa - "Million Lights"
Guusje - "Talk About Love"
Katrina - "Dit is pas het begin"

The show gets going at 18:55 on NPO's Zapp channel.

Italy

After the discovery of technical issues with the televoting during last weekend's national selection show, tonight on 'Ti lascio una canzone' the final two acts will against perform for the votes of the public - with the winner going on to represent Italy in Junior Eurovision.

Chiara & Martina Scarpari and Giovanni Sutera Sardo will take to the stage from 21:10 CET onwards on Rai 1.
