Having only participated in Junior Eurovision once, back in 2012, tonight sees Albania go in search of their second ever contestant, with a live national final to decide who will represent them in Sofia on 21 November. 14 songs will be performed tonight by young talents, with the winner being decided by a five-person professional jury. Each of the performers will sing their would-be Junior Eurovision entry, with all songs being no more than three minutes in length as per the rules of the competition.

Albania's only Junior Eurovision entry to date came in 2012, when Igzidora Getja finished 12th with 35 points.
