Today: Junior Eurovision press conference in Copenhagen

The 12th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malta on the 15 of November. The aim of this contest is to promote young talent in popular music, by encouraging competition among child performers.

A specially created Format Group is looking to revamp the contest this year. Some of the new format elements have already been implemented last year in Kyiv, and others are soon to follow.

During the press conference, Executive Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Vladislav Yakovlev, will speak about the competition and its new format. He will be joined by the Executive Producer of the Maltese national broadcaster PBS, Mr. Anton Attard will introduce his vision for this year's competition in Malta.

All accredited press are welcome to attend the Junior Eurovision Song Contest press conference tomorrow in the press conference area in the press centre at 17:00.
