Today we look back at the experiences of Misha who represented Armenia in Junior Eurovision 2017 with the song 'Boomerang'.

Misha is nine years old and started his musical career at the age of four when he met his future producer, Lira Kocharyan. Misha enjoys listening to music, reading and watching cartoons. He loves playing the violin, the piano and the drums. He dreams of performing with Robertino Loretti, Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars.

Misha has already covered songs by Michael Jackson, Sting and James Brown. At the Opening Ceremony of the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest Misha wowed the crowd with his impression of Michael Jackson's famous 'Moonwalk'.

Misha also made the most of his time off-stage between rehearsals. "It’s been really great, I made a lot of new friends like Malta’s Gianluca, Italy’s Maria Iside, Australia’s Isabella and Albania’s Ana!"

At Junior Eurovision 2017 he gave a super cool performance of his song Boomerang dancing on his boomerang-shaped hoverboard while singing his heart out. The singer was proud to represent his country; after his second rehearsal he said: "I’m very grateful for this opportunity and it’s also a really really nice experience to sing on the big stage here!"

Armenia is one of the most successful countries in Junior Eurovision, having never placed outside the top ten. The country has finished in the top three on seven out of eleven occasions. Misha kept the proud record alive, finishing sixth in the final in Tbilisi.
