The week of... Mina Blažev from F.Y.R. Macedonia

Mina Blažev was born in 2003 in Skopje and her parents say that she first started singing before she could even speak. At Junior Eurovision she represented F.Y.R. Macedonia with the song 'Dancing Through Life', composed by Aleksandar Masevski.

Despite only being 14, Mina has very a wide range of experience of performing. Her biggest achievement was winning the special Pearl Award at the Ezerski Biseri international music festival earlier this year. Mina was also part of a talent show called Pink Stars which is very popular in the Balkan region. To date, she has received a total of seven first prizes, three second and one third prize in national and international competitions. She’s currently attending singing classes at the Zvezdicki Music Academy.

In September Mina won the Macedonian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017, receiving the highest score from the jury. During Junior Eurovision she had the honour of representing her country. You can watch her performance below!

Prior to making the journey to Tbilisi, Mina also filmed a special 60 second video where she answered a series of questions. Watch the video below:

As with all the Junior Eurovision contestants, we challenged Mina to a special quiz. Find out how she got on below!
