This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest trophy was presented to the general public during a press conference held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta during which the European Broadcasting Union and PBS Malta.

This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest trophy is made from solid glass with sand blasted and painted detailing. The trophy is made up of a cylindrical tube, embraced by a swirl running from bottom to top. The fused glass is coloured in red and white, which resembles Malta’s national flag. The trophy was designed by CEO of PBS Malta, John Bundy alongside artisans at Mdina Glass.

Prizes will also be awarded to the acts that finish second and third in the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
