She took part in the ‘New Year’ concert which was held in territory that would be very familiar to many fans: the National Palace of Arts Ukraine where the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 took place. Sofiia sang 'Tykha nich,' (Still night) with Junior Eurovision 2013 host Zlata Ognevich and also caught up with Zlata’s co-host Timur and Eurovision Song Contest 2011 winner Eldar. Sofiia then met the ‘other’ Sofia – Sofia Tarasova - who performed on the same stage as she did a year earlier when she memorably won the second place trophy for Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013.
Sofia duetted with Eurovision Song Contest 2009 winner Alexander Rybak. The evening got even better when the concert also included the award ceremony known as the 'Talented Children of Ukraine.’ Both Sofia AND Sofiia received awards entitled 'The Future of Ukraine.' The concert will be televised on Ukraine's First National Channel during New Year and Christmas holidays.
