'Mini EMA', which will pick Slovenia's entrant for Sofia, will be held as part of the Sunday afternoon show 'Vikend packet', and run over three weeks. The semifinals will take place on 20 and 27 September, with the final a week later on 4 October.
Each semifinal will feature three acts, with one making it to the final from each by decision of a jury. The final of mini EMA will then see two acts perform for the ticket to Junior Eurovision 2015, with the televoters of Slovenia deciding the winner.
The deadline to submit entries to RTVSLO closed on 31 August. A special jury began listening to songs received this week, in order to select the six semifinalists. Their decision, and the acts that will take part in the shows, are:

Leni - Najlepši dan
Lina Kunduzovič - Prva ljubezen
Rekeba Salter - S tabo (Let you go)
Janina Klenovšek - Sonce v ogledalu
Slovenia made its debut in Junior Eurovision last year with Ula Lozar singing "Nisi Sam/Your light".
