Russian national selection for 2017 to take place on 3rd June

Russia is one of the strongest countries in Junior Eurovision and has consistently placed inside the top ten. Last year The Water of Life Project finished fourth and the search is on to find their successor. The Russian selection for Junior Eurovision will take place on Saturday 3rd June but online voting starts on Saturday 27th May. 

This year saw record numbers of applications for the Russian selection for Junior Eurovision. The broadcaster received hundreds of entries from children around Russia hoping to represent the country in Tbilisi, Georgia, in November. 

A national semi-final was held in Moscow at the Academy of Igor Krutoy. A professional music jury selected the final list of participants who will participate in the national selection on 3rd June. A total of 20 performers from 12 different cities will take part in the live show. 

You can vote on the official Junior Eurovision website in Russia. The Russian representative in 2017 will be chosen through a combination of jury and online votes.
