Rita will sing the song 'Gosto de Tudo (já não gosto de nada)' at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She is the winner of a casting selection process organized by RTP, beating over 70 other candidates.

The song title Gosto de Tudo (já não gosto de nada) means I like everything (I don’t like anything) and the song is about the way teenagers relate today with the world through social media.

Rita Laranjeira is 13 years old and was born in Sintra, Portugal. Despite her young age, she has already achieved a lot. She takes classes in voice placement and singing, and piano lessons at the Academia Atelier da Música. She has been attending the Music Theatre course, was a finalist in Meo Kids Musix Fest and is part of the Junior Choir of Lisbon.

Rita is the winning finalist of Juniores de Portugal and will therefore represent her country in Minsk next month. Her song Gosto de Tudo (já não gosto de nada) is written by João Só, who was challenged by RTP to write this year's song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. João is no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest, as he already wrote two songs that competed in the Festival da Canção in 2012 and 2017.
