The contestants had a long time to wait as they were entertained by last year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest performer Denis and others before the jury announced that Rafael would be representing Moldova in Kyiv on the 30th November.
His song, 'Cum să fim' (How to be) beat entries by Daria, Rozalinda and Andreea. Finalist Tatiana did not perform.
