Polina Bogusevich will represent Russia in the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Kryly (Wings). The 13 year old singer beat 19 other acts to represent her country in Tbilisi, Georgia later this year.

Polina is no stranger to competitions having previously participated in The Voice Kids and New Wave Junior in 2014. As part of The Voice Kids she was mentored by Dima Bilan who won the Eurovision Song Contest for Russia in 2008 and finished second in the contest in 2006.

The young singer received maximum points from both the public and professional juries and will represent Russia in Junior Eurovision 2017 in November. Russia won Junior Eurovision in 2006 and the country has never placed outside the top ten since it began participating in the competition in 2005.

Last year The Water Of Life Project represented Russia, placing fourth with the song Water Of Life.
