More finalists in The Netherlands

21 September 2013 at 22:16 CEST

Two further participants were set to qualify from the second semi-final of the Dutch national selection minutes ago: The show was hosted by Ewout Genemans who did the same job when the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held in Amsterdam last year.

The decision was taken by a kids jury, an expert jury and the viewers at home. The lucky winners this evening were Mylène and Rosanne and solo singer Kim who go straight to the final.

Kim's aim in participating in the Junior Eurovision is "to get more experience, because I would like to become a singer. My hobbies are singing, tennis and sometimes football".

Mylène and Rosanne, who sang Double Me stated that "we really like singing, dancing and acting and it seems a lot of fun to work with the producers to make our song better, easier and more fun. It seems like a lot of fun to make a video and a song and do all this in a TV show!"

The other young singers in this semi-final (all pictured below), Roan and Dali, join Mathilde and Giorgio in the wildcard round that will take place on Thursday the 26th of September.

The final of the national selection of The Netherlands for the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on the 28th of September.
