Meet Barbara Popovic for FYR Macedonia

Thirteen years old, she is in year eight at school in Skopje but has been studying music (piano) since she was six years old with the Ilija Nikolovski – Luj music school.  She already has a lot of experience and success in FYR Macedonia, most notably at the children’s song festival ‘Super Zvezda’ and in working with well-known musicians and singers Kaliopi, Jovan Jovanov, Darko Dimitrov, Dragan Mijalkovsi and Elena Ristevska.

Barbara is also a member of ‘Piccolo’ children’s choir in her music school and tells us that, above all, she sings because it makes her happy. What better reason is there than that?
