Martija Stanojković to sing for F.Y.R. Macedonia in Malta

Martija comes from Kumanovo, a city some 20 kilometers from Skopje, the capital of the country. She started to develop her musical talent when she was only 5 years old, when she joined dancing studio Ultra DSU.

When Martija was 7 years old, she recorded her first song, Pejacka Ke Stanam, which means I Will Be A Singer.

Earlier this year, she participated in the TV show Pink's Star. She impressed the audience and came second in the competition.

F.Y.R. Macedonia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

F.Y.R. Macedonia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 11 times before. In 2007 and 2008 the country came 5th, the highest position to date. Last year, Ivana Petkovska and Magdalena Aleksovska came 17th with their song Pletenka.
