Marissa wins in the Netherlands!

This weekend, the Dutch held their national final. A kids jury, a professional jury and the viewers at home decided who would win.

The group Rready finished second, even though they reached the final with a wildcard. Roufaida finished third. One of the other participants, Melissa, had throath problems, but finished fifth. Still, very well done!

In 2005, the Dutch finished 7th, the highest position so far at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On the 22nd of November, when the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Lemesos, Cyprus, we will know if Marissa can break that record.
