Maltese President visits Junior Eurovision 2014 venue

Today during the Maltese rehearsal, Her Excellency President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca of Malta arrived to take a tour of the Junior Eurovision 2014 venue.

Entering the arena just as Federica Falzon did her final run-through, the President watched the performance and led the applause.

“I’m so impressed and so very proud of my Maltese brothers and sisters for this really big show of intellectual and artistic ability, obviously Federica is amazing and I don’t have the words to describe the emotion she has instilled in me – I’m so proud to be Maltese,” remarked President Coleiro Preca, after the rehearsal.

I’m always proud of Malta, each and every minute of each and every day, but next Saturday I’ll be even more proud of my country. Obviously it will be a showcase to see the small country as the centre of Europe for one night - the only resources we have are human resources and how talented they are.”
