Representing Georgia, Lizi Pop (Lizi Japaridze) and her four backing dancers (Kate, Nita, Sophie, and Dea) want to wish us all a “Happy Day”. Lizi is only eleven years old, but she already has an impressive resume, including the leading role in the film musical “Carrot Story”. Lizi and her song may appear sweet, but she’s certainly strong, as well; she holds a green belt in karate!

Georgian broadcaster GPB selected Lizi via an internal selection, announcing her as their representative on August 16th, and unveiling her song on September 29th.
About the song
“Happy Day”, which was written and composed by JESC veteran Giorgi Kukhianidze, evokes the wonder and simplicity that the dawn of each new day brings:
Sun shine shine,
Bright winking sunshine
Let it be the morning of happiness
“Happy Day” will be primarily performed in Georgian, with choruses in English.
On stage
Lizi will be joined on stage by Sophio, Ketevan, Dea, and Nita - who will be part of the performance as backing artists.
