Kristall will represent Ukraine in "Evropa"

The song Kristall will perform at the 9th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on behalf of Ukraine is conveniently titled Evropa (Europe).

Kristall's real name is Kristina Kochegarova and turned 11 last April. She has experience in several song and children's competitions having won many awards, and is a presenter of the OTV music channel.

But Kristall's biggest achievement so far in her career is her victory at the national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which took place the 31st of July at the International Children Centre "Artek" located on the Crimean peninsula.

All 20 finalists at the national selection spent two weeks preparing their performances, before the Final show, while having a great time together in the best children camp of Ukraine.

Kristall will be the 6th Ukrainian performer at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since the country debuted in 2006. Their best placing was a 2nd place in 2008 with Victoria Petryk's Matrosy.
