The trophy for the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest has arrived in Tbilisi's Olympic Palace. Designed by Kosta Boda, the Junior Eurovision trophy will be used each year, as with the Eurovision Song Contest trophy.

Designer Kjell Engman (1946) of Kosta Boda has worked as a glass artist for thirty years. Recently, he has focused on art glass and his creations can be found in exhibitions around the world.

Kjell Engman gets his inspiration from the most diverse sources, not least from the animal kingdom and the world of music and entertainment. He often works on large installations in which he also combines elements of sound and light.

"The whole microphone is supposed to be in clear glass with color lines inside the upper part of the microphone. These color lines symbolize sound streams that flows. It's also these colors we think you can let your fans vote about," said Kjell.

The 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is the 15th edition of the competition. The final will take place on Sunday 26th November at 16:00 CET.
