Junior Eurovision Concert takes place in Belarus

Alexander opened the concert with the English version of his Junior Eurovision entry Music Is My Only Way. The song was presented in a jazz style and Alexander was joined on-stage by Valeryia and Karyna, who will also perform with him in Malta in November. 

The event took place in the Belarusian capital, Minsk, and saw around 200 of Alexander's friends attend to wish him good luck with some of them giving him advice. Among them was Nadezhda Misyakova who finished in seventh place for Belarus in Junior Eurovision in 2014, the last time that the contest took place in Malta. During the concert she performed her new song, Mama. 

Also in attendance were Uzari who composed Nadezhda's Junior Eurovision entry and also represented Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 alongside the singer Maimuna. Kirill Ermakov, who wrote the music for Alexander's Junior Eurovision Song was there as well as singer Volha Satsiuk who represented Belarus in the very first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. Earlier today Alexander performed the English language version of his Junior Eurovision entry on one of the most popular morning shows in Belarus. 

Belarus has participated in every Junior Eurovision Song Contest since it began in 2003 and won the contest in 2005 and 2007. In 2010 Belarus staged the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk. Alexander Minyonok will perform Musyka moih pobed (Music is my only way) in both Russian and English.
