"PBS really set the bar high in 2014," said Executive Supervisor Vladislav Yakovlev, as he opened the press conference by thanking to the 2014 hosts. "We are looking forward to a great event in Bulgaria this year as well."

BNT's Director General Viara Ankova invited the press and fans to visit the competition in November: "As Bulgarians we're really proud to welcome you to our country. As BNT we're proud to host such a wonderful event. JESC has been gaining more & more popularity over the last few years. JESC not only entertains., it also unites and inspires dreams."

This year's Executive Producer, Joana Levieva Sawyer, also explained some elements of the show this year, which will be made under the slogan: #discover. "Young people discover the world and their dreams every day, and with our show we want to create a new world for them that they can discover. We also invite Vincenzo, together with Krisia, Hasan, andIbrahim to be part of our show next year. We are welcoming the children of Europe to Bulgaria - and in return we'll give them an experience they'll never forget" she said.

"We have an amazing venue, Arena Armeec. It has a capacity of up to 15,000 people, however for Junior Eurovision the hall will be about 8,000 people. We're sure it will be full! It has everything needed for an event like this" added Ms. Levieva-Sawyer.

During the press conference, 2014 winner Vincenzo Cantiello performed part of his winning song for last year, and there was also a performance from Michele Perniola, Anita Simonchini (who represented San Marino in Eurovision this year), joined by Arianna Ulivi who was part of The Peppermints with Anita in Malta.
