Immediately after Mariam Mamadashvili's winning reprise we caught up with the young singer for an exclusive interview live on the Junior Eurovision stage. Georgia's winning song is called Mzeo which means Sun, and marks the third time that Georgia has won Junior Eurovision.

"I feel really great, I don't have any words", said an emotional Mariam. She sent her love and best wishes to the people of Georgia; "thank you all, I love you all, thank you!"

When asked if she had anything to say to the other participants the eleven year old was visibly moved. "I love you all, you have beautiful voices, all of you and you have great songs", she said before having a group hug on the stage. She revealed that ice cream is one of her favourite treats and intends to have lots of it in celebration of her record-breaking win!

Mariam goes to school in the United States and had a message for her fellow students; "I miss you all, I miss the school too, and please, no homework!"

"The moment they told me I won, I needed like one hour to realise that I had won. It was amazing". Mariam revealed that the first people she planned to call are her grandmothers. She dedicates her victory to her family and friends. "Thank you so much for being with me and supporting me. Thank you all. Thank you, thank you! I love you".
