How to vote for your favourites in Junior Eurovision 2019

The results of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 are determined by a combination of online audience votes and national juries that consist of 3 music industry professionals and 2 children. Each counts for 50% of the final result.
Phase 1
The first phase of online voting starts at 20:00 CET on Friday 22 November. Voters are required to watch a recap of all the rehearsal performances before they can cast a vote. After this, there is an option to watch longer, 1-minute clips from each participant’s rehearsals. This first round of voting closes on Sunday 24 November at 15:59 CET, just before the live show.
Each voter needs to select at least 3 songs, and no more than 5, to cast a valid vote. Viewers can also vote for their own country’s song.
Phase 2
The second phase of online voting takes place during the live show on Sunday 24 November, after all artists have performed. Then the voting window opens up for approximately 15 minutes. Again, the international audience can vote online for a minimum of 3 countries and a maximum of 5. Viewers can also vote for their own country’s song. These votes are converted into points.
Dividing the points
The amount of points the audience awards is based on the total amount of points from the National Juries. As we have 19 participating countries, the juries will award a total of 1102 points. Each National Jury will award 58 points (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12). The audience points are determined by the percentage of votes received per country. For example, if a song gets 20% of the votes, it receives 20% of the available points (20% from 1.102 points = 220 points).
