Italy made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, winning the contest on its very first attempt. This year 12 year old Fiamma Boccia will fly the flag for her country. 2016 marks the third time that Italy has competed in Junior Eurovision.

Fiamma comes from Florence and has a 14-year-old sister called Emilia who is also a singer. Fiamma's favourite subjects at school include Italian, History, Music, English, German and Science. She started singing when she was just four years old and also started playing the piano at the same age.

Apart from music, Fiamma also enjoys dancing and acting. She would like to broaden her performance experience and hopes to go into musicals one day. In her spare time Fiamma enjoys reading and is a big fan of Harry Potter. She is looking forward to the Junior Eurovision experience, representing her country and making new friends in Malta next month!
