The hunt to find the next Junior Eurovision champion has begun.

We already know that Portugal have selected Simão Oliveira for the Contest in Paris on Sunday 19 December, and now Germany joins the race.

Deutschland will take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the second time, selecting their participant in a national final: Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris? (‘Junior ESC – Who’s Going To Paris?’) on Friday 10 September.

Watch: Susan - Stronger With You

Last year, Susan performed for Germany with the song Stronger With You.

The student reminisced about her time at the Contest: 'It was a really great experience. Also, because I sang alone in a music video for the first time. I met so many new people.'
