First singer for 2014 chosen: Federica Falzon for Malta!

Federica Falzon is the lucky girl chosen to represent Malta in this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The announcement was made this evening by PBS' CEO, Anton Attard. 

Federica won Italian television show "Ti Lascio Una Canzone" last night, which was previously won by Michele Perniola, who represented San Marino last year in Kyiv!

The young Maltese singer, who is a Mezzo Soprano, is taught by at the La Voix Academy by Gillan Attard. This is the same school where last year's winner, Gaia Cauchi, also studies.
