Posted

Welcome, Kazakhstan! Being the first Kazakh ever to step on to the Junior Eurovision stage, Daneliya Tuleshova rehearsed her song 'Өзіңе сен (Òzińe Sen)' for the first time today.

Daneliya Tuleshova was born in 2006 in Astana, Kazakhstan and is currently a sixth grader at Lyceum 56 where she focuses on mathematics. Around her 6th, Daneliya started attending singing and dancing classes. In 2015, she won Kazakhstani singing competition Ayaglagan Astana and reached the finals of Russian tv project Children's New Wave, where she won the Audience Award. Two years later, Daneliya won the international singing competition Hopes of Europe and went on to become the first non-Ukrainian to win The Voice Kids in the summer of 2017.

All attention is focused on Daneliya, as she stands barefoot in the centre of the stage, wearing a white dress. As she belts out her participating song, the LED screens shows organic, drawn, calligraphic-like shapes in colours ranging from black and orange to yellow.

Daneliya Tuleshova will be the 3rd to perform in the live show on 25 November.
