Enya Cox Dempsey will sing for Ireland in Madrid
Ireland has found its singer for Madrid! Enya Cox Dempsey will represent the Emerald Isle at the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

The grand final of Ireland's search for its performer for Madrid came to its conclusion on Sunday 13 October.
Enya Cox Dempsey was awarded victory at Junior Eurovision Éire 2024 and will now get to sing for her country at the Contest in November.
In Madrid, Enya will perform the song Le Chéile. Ireland has been drawn to perform 16th on the evening of Junior Eurovision 2024.

Enya comes from the town of Castlecomer in County Kilkenny, where she lives with Mum Róisín and the family dog Pip. Family is a huge part of Enya’s life, as she also has her grandparents and uncle living next door.
Enya has recently taken up playing the drums... Much to Róisín’s delight, as the drums are set up in Mum’s bedroom!
Enya has performed in pantomimes and local shows all her life. Her uncle Paddy introduced her to her love of classic rock n’ roll. Enya's goal right now is to win big for Ireland and become a pop star, making her home town proud.
Ireland debuted at Junior Eurovision in 2015 and has participated 8 times since. Enya Cox Dempsey will be the 9th singer to represent Ireland at the Contest.
Ireland's best result to date came in 2022, when Sophie Lennon performed Solas, giving the country a 4th-place finish with 150 points.
