Countdown to Tbilisi: Watch the video premiere of Armenia's 'Boomerang'

23 October 2017 at 19:00 CEST
Earlier this summer the Public TV Company of Armenia (AMPTV) officially confirmed that Misha (Michael Grigoryan) will represent Armenia at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Misha was selected internally by the creative team of AMPTV and today the official video for his song, Boomerang, was released!

Boomerang was composed by Vahram Petrosyan and the lyrics were written by Avet Barseghyan, David Tserunyan and Arthur Aghekyan. "I love my song! The music is powerful, while the lyrics carry a strong message: everything we do in life will always come back to us, just like a boomerang! I encourage everyone to believe in their dreams, share their love with the world and most importantly be kind to one another,” says Misha.

Last year, Misha represented Armenia at the New Wave Junior competition where he ended up as the runner up. In his acceptance speech he invited everyone to Armenia, to explore its culture and traditions.

Armenia has never been outside of the top ten in Junior Eurovision and when the seven top three placings are taken into account, this makes it the most successful country overall in the competition.

You can find more information about Misha by following the official Junior Eurovision Armenia Facebook page.
