Countdown to Tbilisi: All of Armenia's entries

28 September 2017 at 18:00 CEST
Since Armenia made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 the country has gone on to become one of the most successful participants in the competition. We are continuing our Countdown to Tbilisi and today we look back at Armenia's entries over the years.

Armenia got off to a strong start in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, finishing second with the song Erazanq which was performed by Arevik. What followed was a string of successes in the contest which saw Armenia finish in the top three an incredible seven times out of ten appearances.

Armenia won Junior Eurovision once, in 2010, with Mama performed by Vladimir Arzumanyan. The following year Junior Eurovision travelled to the capital Yerevan.

Armenia has finished second a record four times including last year when Anahit and Mary represented the country with the song Tarber. The duo repeated Armenia's success from the previous year when Mika finished second with his song Love.

Armenia has never been outside of the top ten in Junior Eurovision and when the seven top three placings are taken into account, this makes it the most successful country overall in the competition. Check out all the entries from Armenia in the video below.

Earlier this year the Public TV Company of Armenia (AMPTV) announced that Misha (Michael Grigoryan) will represent Armenia at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Misha was selected internally by the creative team of AMPTV. His song for 2017 will be premiered in the coming weeks!
