Countdown to Tbilisi: Meet Poland's Alicja Rega

Alicja Rega will represent Poland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi with the song 'Mój Dom' (My Home). Earlier this year she won the right to represent her country after winning the Polish national selection for Junior Eurovision.

Alicja studies at the Vogal Art Centre at Rzeszów and has taken part in many festivals and vocal contests in Poland and abroad. Previously she won a TV programme called Mali Giganci (The Small Giants) in the Best Voice category. She reached second place in a talent show called Hit Hit Hurra! and has won awards in Lithuania, Malta, Russia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Germany and the Czech Republic.    

During the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Alicja will represent Poland with a song called Mój Dom (My Home). She hopes to encourage listeners to reflect during her song. Check out the song below!


The most important things in life to Alicja are her family and music. She gets her inspiration from jazz and classical music, and relaxes by crossing forests and travelling off the beaten track. She also likes cycling, skating and snowboarding and loves animals, mostly cats!

Poland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Poland made its debut in Junior Eurovision in 2003 and returned again in 2004 before taking a break for over ten years. Olivia Wieczorek represented the country in 2016 with the song Nie zapomnij, finishing 11th.
