Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT has now officially signed the necessary documents to confirm its participation in Junior Eurovision 2014, which takes place on 15 November. The confirmation comes a week after the participation was widely rumoured in both national and international media.
“It’s great to have Bulgaria back in the competition,” said Executive Supervisor Vladislav Yakovlev on the latest country to sign up for 2014. “I know that there were articles about their participation before, but we now have all the forms signed so it’s wonderful to be able to confirm it!”
Bulgaria made it’s Junior Eurovision debut in 2007, and came back the following year for more. A two year break was ended with Ivan Ivanov’s entry in Yerevan, and it is another two year hiatus that will be broken with BNT’s participation in 2014.
