The participant, who will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, will be picked on the 10th of September.
«Our TV-viewers will see that songs which sound at a children's contest are brighter and more interesting than those that adults sometimes sing. We are seriously preparing for the selection and are sure that this year our country will be represented by the brightest of the 11 little stars», said Lyudmila Borodina, BTRC producer.
Kids, parents and teachers prepared songs for the contest the whole summer. They re-recorded vocals, arrangements, hairstyles, costumes and choreography all together. After all performances during the rehearsal the professional jury recommended every single teacher to correct some mistakes.
The participant of the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Yura Demidovich, helped to conduct a draw. He looked at all the young talents and … didn't say who’s his favourite is.
«They are all good in their own way, there are some cheerful performances which I remember, and there are different children and different talents. I wish a victory for all!», Yura Demidovich said.
On the 10th of September, 11 bright stars will sing live, on air during the national selection. BTRC, the Host Broadcaster, prepares an amazing show full of surprises. Winners and participants from previous editions will also sing their hits together with adult pop artists.
The eighth Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on the 20th of November in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
