Ukraine has its song for Madrid! Artem Kotenko will perform 'Dim' after winning the country's Junior Eurovision pre-selection.

On Sunday 22 September, Ukraine held its national final for selecting the country's entry to the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest in November.

We saw 6 singers compete with their songs, with voting on the entries done via both a professional jury and an online vote that was open to the public.

The winner of the evening was Artem Kotenko, performing the song Dim

Dim becomes Ukraine's entry to the 22nd Junior Eurovision, taking place in Madrid on Saturday 16 November.

Junior Eurovision 2024 will be Ukraine's 19th time participating in the Contest.

Ukraine's best result came in 2012, when Anastasiya Petryk won with her song Nebo. Ukraine has also finished runner-up twice, in 2008 and 2013.
