On 15 September, Armenian broadcaster AMPTV held its second national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. After a round of auditions, 10 shortlisted artists took part in the competition. 'Depi Mankakan Evratesil' was held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, where ten artists competed for the chance to represent their country in Gliwice-Silesia in November.

The show was opened by L.E.V.O.N, Armenia's representative at Junior Eurovision 2018. The show also featured Roksana Węgiel, Poland's winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, as a jury member who also performed her winning song Anyone I Want To be. After an exciting string of performances and the voting sequence, Karina won the contest with 138 points.
