03 June 2014 at 12:41 CEST

Anyone interested in representing the country has until 15 August to send their submissions to broadcaster ARMTV. Submissions – including the song, lyrics, photos, and contact information - can be sent via email to [email protected], or alternatively by post to the television centre in Yerevan.

According to ARMTV’s rules, any potential Junior Eurovision entrant must be a citizen of Armenia, or have lived in the country for at least two and a half years. As with Junior Eurovision rules, songs must be between 2:45 and 3:00 minutes in length, with at least 75% of the lyrics in Armenian.

Armenia made its debut in Junior Eurovision in 2007, winning the contest in 2010 and hosting in 2011. It also has two second places, and one third place finish, to its name from seven entries.
