Two semi-finals took place before the grand final. Daniel already gave it a try last year, but he had to give it another try to win the Maltese ticket to Lemesos.
16 acts took part, but Junior Swing won the competition with 140 points! Jodi, singing The Zoo, finished second, Yazmin Halledie finished third with the song Fly.
