Monica Avanesyan is 15 years old and goes to school at Khachik Dashtents. She also attends the Alexander Spendiaryan musical school and has been doing so since she was six years old. She has been playing the violin for the past eight years and been taking vocal lessons for the past four.She says, “Through music I can express myself and my emotions. I get my inspiration from my family and the works of my favorite singers.
“I think one of the most important highlights of my career was the 1st prize I received at the contest organized by Yerevan municipality this year. I represented my musical school and played the violin for which I got the highest mark.
"For me Eurovision song contest is the most interesting and amazing music project and I am so happy to participate and represent Armenia. Hope I will perform well and get a high mark at the contest.
"I like the Choco Factory song and especially performing it live. We have staged a factory of chocolate, where all the workers dance and sing. My team consists of three dancers: Adriana, Anna,Victoria and two actors: Vahagn and Guissanee who are all involved in interesting and funny scenes.
"In my dream world Choco Factory all are healthy and happy, and the life is sweet like a chocolate. I wish the same to all juniors in the world, so that all their wishes come true.”
Emma Asatryan is co-author of the song Choco Factory. Being a professional singer, Emma has sung for an Armenian Jazz Big Band for eleven years. Besides singing and composing she is also teaching Jazz vocals at State Music School named after Aleksander Spendiaryan.
